In those halcyon days, the original VMS and MC series cartridges took the market by storm and were unbeatable value in their respective categories.

Ortofon still retain a huge global market share, with some of the latest models being manufactured in Japan –a perfect combination of Japanese and Danish craftsmanship and expertise. The current 2M series still offer great value, with the likes of the Cadenza and Quintet models ideal for the more serious audiophile and the limited edition Anna models representing their ‘state of art’ moving coils.
