Bill Johnson coined the phrase ‘High Definition’ with his valve designs and listeners started to appreciate the realism that his amplifiers produced.

I have personally been glad to be associated with the brand since 1988, and it’s an interesting time for the reinvigorated ARC with new owners and exciting new designs.

I’m happy to say I still represent the brand with the ‘Reference’ series amplifiers which have returned Audio Research to the front rank of musical and technical performance.
